A Western-style cult brand is waiting for you in the Village: Lee & Wrangler. It started life back in 1889, born out of an idea by Henry David Lee, with the aim of giving Kansas cattle ranchers more freedom of movement. After introducing the first prototype of dungaree jeans, in the 1920s it went on to file the patent for the first jeans with a zip fly. Lee’s unmistakable style anticipated fashion trends and was always ahead of its time. The Wrangler world focused research on materials and identified a fabric that shrank by only 1 per cent. The Lee & Wrangler brand now produces casual-style clothing and accessories that tap into Western style and country music. You’ll find printed t-shirts and check shirts, as well as outfits for women, tops, t-shirts, leather belts, and bags and wallets too.
