Franciacorta Outlet Village, in collaboration with Milan’s Deodato Art gallery presents the exhibition "From Warhol to Banksy: a journey through contemporary art history", scheduled from 13 June to 15 September in the exhibition space in Via Moroni 19.
An exhibition that celebrates the great names of Pop and Street art, bringing them together in an unconventional venue that is accessible to all.
Emerging in this exciting artistic journey is the common thread that inextricably links Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy, Mr. Brainwash and Obey. Their works have left, and continue to leave, an indelible mark on the world of contemporary art. The exhibition at the Village explores all the passages and the metamorphosis of this journey.
Amongst the works on display are an original Marilyn Monroe signed by Warhol, several black and white lithographs by Haring, from the portfolio of gallery owner Lucio Amelio, and the original invitation cards by Basquiat, all signed. Banksy's works in the exhibition are original serigraphs on paper signed by the artist, as are the unique or limited edition works by Frank Shepard Fairey, aka Obey, the leading exponent of street poster art, and by Mr. Brainwash.
